SkillsUSA

As the Class President, I have been fortunate enough to harbor collaboration between many different stakeholders of the Class of 2025. Between facilitating partnerships with other clubs, managing my team of 8 class officers and communication with class advisors, as well as ensuring all students had a say. Harboring this sense of collaboration has created an incredible base of support within the Class of 2025 as we reach for new heights in the final month of high school.

As the founder and student director of Student Council (STUCO), I have grown a club that originally was an idea presented to administrators in a hotel lobby of Atlanta, to a fully functioning 40 member advocacy group bringing in students from applications, and representatives from the different activities at ENSATS. Under my leadership in the first two years, we have been fortunate enough to develop succession planning, officer elections, bylaws, and a 5 year plan.

My SkillsUSA journey started with a loss in chapter officer elections my freshman year, and a denial to my application to go to the Fall State Leadership Conference a couple months later, and a loss in an election to be ENSATS State Officer Candidate later after that. After leading $10,000 in chapter fundraising and applying for other programs within SkillsUSA, my hard work was recognized with a school exception to be an extra State Officer Candidate. After winning the election, I have taken full advantage of the opportunities presented to me through advocacy in Washington D.C & The State House, to representing our school on the State, and National level.
